Cadia Hill gold mine is one of Australia's newest open cut gold mines and is part of the Newcrest Group.  With an integrated on-site processing operation, the plant was handed over from project managers Minproc-Bechtel in 1997 after which G-Kel was invited to provide services to develop drawing documentation and engineering design and drafting services for upgrades to the plant to get it running smoothly.  A deal of subsequent continuous improvements have also been in the hands of G-Kel.

G-Kel provides on-site services that can respond quickly to Cadia needs, such as:  

• Mechanical and structural design and drafting for plant and process improvements;
• Project management and supervision;
• Development and maintenance of document control systems
